Terms & Conditions
Purpus Orgorbit Super App (OPC) Private Limited
Effective Date: February 2026 · Last Updated: February 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using any app or service operated by Purpus Orgorbit Super App (OPC) Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our services.
These Terms apply to all our products including BelongCart, MahaMantra JapaRuchi, community marketplace apps, and the orgorbit.com website (collectively, "the Platform"). These Terms apply to users worldwide.
2. About the Platform
The Platform is an identity-driven marketplace that enables users to discover and transact with communities, organizations, leaders, and service providers based on shared values and belonging.
Our products include:
- BelongCart — a master marketplace aggregating community offerings from across the Platform.
- MahaMantra JapaRuchi — a dedicated app for Japa (chanting) practice and tracking.
- Community marketplace apps — niche apps built for specific faith, cultural, or interest-based communities.
When you create an account on any app, your credentials work on that app and on BelongCart. If you choose to sign up on additional community apps in the future, the same credentials will work there too — but signing up on one community app does not create your presence on any other community app. Data flows upward only: from your app to BelongCart, never sideways between community apps. See our Privacy Policy for full details on cross-app visibility.
3. Intermediary Status
The Company is headquartered in India and operates as an intermediary under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and complies with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We provide the technology platform that enables transactions between users. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers on the Platform.
As an intermediary, we do not initiate, select, or modify the information transmitted or stored by users. Our liability is limited as provided under Section 79 of the IT Act and applicable laws in your jurisdiction, subject to our compliance with applicable intermediary guidelines.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform (or 16, where required by local law such as in certain EU member states). If you are between 13 and 18 (or the applicable local age of digital consent), you may use the Platform only with verifiable parental or guardian consent. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.
5. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
- One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts is not permitted.
- You may not transfer or sell your account to anyone.
- If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at info@orgorbit.com.
6. Cross-App Visibility
If you sign up through a community marketplace app (e.g., MahaMantra JapaRuchi), your profile will also be visible on BelongCart. You can set your profile to private anytime in Settings to hide yourself from BelongCart while remaining visible within your app.
Users from one community marketplace app cannot see users from a different community marketplace app. Only BelongCart shows profiles and listings from community apps whose users have not set their profiles to private. Your data is never shared sideways between community apps.
Shared Features
Certain features — such as leaderboards, rankings, and community challenges — may aggregate limited participation data (such as your display name and activity score) from users. Your display name and activity score may be visible to users on BelongCart and within the specific feature's context. This does not extend to your full profile, listings, or posts, and does not expose your data to users of other community apps you have not signed up on. If your profile is set to private, your participation in shared features will be anonymized.
Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
7. Marketplace Transactions
What You Can Do
The Platform enables the following types of transactions between users:
- Purchase products (physical and digital)
- Rent equipment and resources
- Book courses and workshops
- Book event tickets and sessions
- Subscribe to digital memberships
- Make donations to organizations and causes
Role of the Platform
The Platform is a marketplace intermediary that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction between buyer and seller. We do not manufacture, store, or ship products. We do not deliver courses or conduct events. The seller or service provider is solely responsible for fulfilling orders and delivering what was promised.
Platform Fee
We charge a platform fee (commission) on transactions processed through the Platform. The applicable fee percentage is displayed to the seller at the time of listing creation and is deducted from the transaction amount before settlement to the seller. We reserve the right to modify fee percentages with 30 days prior notice to sellers.
Seller Settlement
Payments collected from buyers are settled to sellers after deducting the applicable platform fee. Settlement timelines are as follows:
- Products: Settlement within 7 business days of delivery confirmation or the expiry of the return window, whichever is later.
- Courses, events, and sessions: Settlement within 7 business days of the session/event date.
- Donations: Settlement within 7 business days of the donation being made.
We may withhold settlement in cases of suspected fraud, disputes, or policy violations until the matter is resolved.
Payments
All payments are processed through third-party payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details. By making a payment, you agree to the payment provider's terms in addition to these Terms. Prices are listed in the currency specified by the seller or in your local currency as supported by the Platform. Currency conversions, if applicable, are handled by the payment provider and may include conversion fees.
8. For Sellers and Service Providers
If you list products, services, courses, events, or rentals on the Platform ("Offerings"), you agree to the following:
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your listing — description, pricing, images, availability, and delivery terms.
- You are solely responsible for fulfilling orders, delivering products/services, and handling customer issues.
- You must display the following on each listing: your name or business name, contact information, applicable return/refund policy, and country of origin for physical products.
- Your Offerings will be visible within the app you listed on and on BelongCart (unless your profile is set to private).
- You will comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including consumer protection laws, applicable tax regulations, and e-commerce regulations. For sellers based in India, this includes the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, applicable GST regulations, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
- You will not list illegal, counterfeit, harmful, or prohibited items.
- You grant us a non-exclusive license to display your listing content (text, images, descriptions) across the Platform for the purpose of enabling discovery and transactions.
- We may remove any listing that violates these Terms or our community guidelines without prior notice.
9. Donations
The Platform enables users to make donations to organizations and causes listed on the Platform. Please note:
- Donations are processed as payments to the receiving organization through the Platform.
- The Company is not the recipient of any donation. We act solely as a technology intermediary facilitating the transaction.
- Receiving organizations are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws governing donations in their jurisdiction. For organizations based in India, this includes the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA) where applicable. Organizations in India that are not registered under FCRA must not accept donations from foreign nationals or entities through the Platform.
- Users making donations are responsible for verifying the legitimacy of the receiving organization.
- Tax receipts, if applicable, are the responsibility of the receiving organization to issue.
- Donations are non-refundable unless the receiving organization agrees to a refund.
10. Refunds and Cancellations
Products
Refund and return policies are set by the individual seller and must be clearly stated on each listing. If a seller does not specify a policy, the following defaults apply: returns accepted within 7 days of delivery for physical products; no returns on digital products once delivered.
Courses, Events, and Sessions
Cancellation and refund policies are set by the individual organizer or instructor and must be clearly stated on the listing. If no policy is stated, the following defaults apply: full refund if cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled time; no refund within 48 hours of the scheduled time.
Disputes
If you have a dispute with a seller or buyer, we encourage you to resolve it directly. If that fails, you can report the issue to our Grievance Officer at info@orgorbit.com. The complaint will be acknowledged within 24 hours and we will attempt to mediate a resolution within 15 days. However, as an intermediary, we are not obligated to resolve disputes between users and are not liable for losses arising from transactions between users.
If you are located in the EU, you may also access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create on the Platform — posts, comments, reviews, listings, media, and messages ("Your Content").
By posting content on the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute Your Content on the Platform for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where Your Content has been shared with others and they have not deleted it.
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent that you own or have the rights to post it and that it does not infringe on anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
12. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Post content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, threatening, or harassing
- Upload, share, or solicit any content depicting or promoting Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
- Impersonate any person or organization
- Spam, phish, or send unsolicited messages to other users
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to collect data from the Platform
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
- List counterfeit, stolen, or illegal products or services
- Manipulate ratings, reviews, or search results
- Use the Platform to launder money or engage in fraudulent transactions
- Circumvent the Platform to complete transactions off-platform to avoid fees
- For organizations in India: accept foreign donations without valid FCRA registration
13. Content Moderation and Enforcement
- We may review, remove, or restrict any content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines.
- Content reported by users will be acted upon within 36 hours in accordance with applicable intermediary guidelines.
- We may warn, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts for violations.
- Terminated users are prohibited from creating new accounts.
- We maintain absolute zero tolerance for CSAE. Violating content is immediately removed and reported to NCMEC and law enforcement. See our Privacy Policy Section 1 for full details.
- You can report violations using the in-app Report feature or by contacting our Grievance Officer at info@orgorbit.com.
14. Intellectual Property
The Platform — including its design, code, logos, trademarks, and content created by us — is owned by Purpus Orgorbit Super App (OPC) Private Limited. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without written permission.
"BelongCart", "OrgOrbit", "JapaRuchi", and associated logos are trademarks of Purpus Orgorbit Super App (OPC) Private Limited.
15. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate with or link to third-party services, including payment providers, map services, analytics providers, and AI service providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google, accessed directly or via OpenRouter). These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of third-party services. See Section 16 below for specific terms governing AI-powered features.
16. AI Features, Disclaimers, and Acceptable Use
Some apps operated under the Platform include AI-powered features — for example, natural-language assistants such as "Japa AI," voice input, and optional Mantra Calibration. The terms in this Section 16 apply to all AI-powered features in our current and future apps.
16.1 Consent Required
AI-powered features are opt-in. You must consent through the in-app consent screen before any AI feature processes your data. You can withdraw consent and disable AI features at any time from the app's Settings; the non-AI functionality of the app will continue to work normally.
16.2 Nature of AI Outputs
AI-generated responses are provided on a best-effort basis. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or reflect limitations of the underlying data. You must not treat AI output as spiritual, medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI responses, and we are not responsible for decisions or actions you take based on them.
16.3 Access Boundaries
AI features operate strictly within the same access rules as the rest of the Platform. You may only query data you are already authorized to see. You agree not to use AI features to:
- Extract, aggregate, or exfiltrate data about users, communities, or organizations you do not have permission to access;
- Circumvent the privacy settings of other users;
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically download content from the Platform;
- Generate content that violates our content rules or Section 12 (Prohibited Conduct), including harassment, hate speech, impersonation, or unlawful material;
- Reverse-engineer, probe, or attempt to extract the system prompts, model weights, or internal workings of any AI service.
16.4 Third-Party AI Providers
AI features are powered by third-party services, currently including Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (Whisper), and Google (Gemini, accessed via OpenRouter). Your use of AI features is also subject to those providers' terms of service, available on their respective websites. We do not control and do not guarantee the output, availability, or policies of third-party AI services.
16.5 Data Sent to AI Providers
For a full description of what data is sent to AI providers and how it is handled, see the "AI-Powered Features and Third-Party AI Service Providers" section of our Privacy Policy (Section 9).
16.6 Right to Suspend AI Access
We may suspend, restrict, or revoke AI feature access for any user who misuses AI features — including attempts to bypass access rules, abusive or excessive queries, or harm to other users. We may also suspend AI features entirely, at our discretion, if a third-party provider becomes unavailable or if we determine continued operation poses a safety or compliance risk.
16.7 Changes
We may add, remove, or change AI providers and features at any time. Material changes will be notified in-app and through updates to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
17. Disclaimers
- The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the Platform.
- We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, safety, or legality of any listing, content, or transaction.
- We do not endorse any user, organization, seller, product, or service on the Platform.
- We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform or transactions with other users.
- We do not verify the regulatory status of organizations accepting donations. Users and organizations are responsible for their own regulatory compliance.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In such jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Purpus Orgorbit Super App (OPC) Private Limited and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (in platform fees) in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50 (or the equivalent in your local currency), whichever is lower.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on certain types of liability. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (such as liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Purpus Orgorbit Super App (OPC) Private Limited, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, your transactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms.
This indemnification obligation applies to the extent permitted by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow consumers to indemnify companies — in such jurisdictions, this section applies only to the extent permitted.
20. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time through your Profile settings or by emailing info@orgorbit.com.
- Account deletion will be completed within 30 days of your request.
- We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
- Account deletion removes your profile from the app you signed up on and from BelongCart. If you signed up on additional community apps, deletion removes you from those as well.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.
21. Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we have appointed a Grievance Officer:
Name: Suresh Paramayogi
Designation: Grievance Officer
Email: info@orgorbit.com
Address: Flat No H-2024, Mantri Tr, Gubbalala, Chikkalasandra, Bangalore South, Bangalore — 560061, Karnataka, India
The Grievance Officer will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receipt.
For users outside India: The Grievance Officer is also your primary point of contact for any complaints or inquiries. If you are located in the EU/EEA, UK, or other jurisdictions with local consumer protection bodies, you retain the right to raise complaints with your local authority in addition to contacting us directly.
22. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting our Grievance Officer at info@orgorbit.com. We will attempt to resolve the matter within 30 days.
If you are a consumer located outside India, this governing law clause does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where required by applicable law.
23. Jurisdiction-Specific Terms
The following additional terms apply to users in specific regions. These supplement the terms above.
European Union / European Economic Area
If you are a consumer located in the EU or EEA:
- You have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of delivery (for physical goods) or within 14 days of purchase (for digital content), unless the seller's listing specifies otherwise and you have waived your right of withdrawal for digital content where permitted. This is in addition to any return policy stated by the seller.
- The disclaimers and limitation of liability in Sections 16 and 17 apply only to the extent permitted by EU consumer protection law.
- You may access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
- The mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply to your use of the Platform.
United Kingdom
If you are a consumer located in the UK, you have the same rights as described in the EU section above, as implemented under UK consumer protection law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015). The disclaimers and limitation of liability apply only to the extent permitted by UK law.
United States
If you are located in the United States:
- The disclaimers and limitation of liability apply to the maximum extent permitted by the laws of your state of residence.
- If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code Section 1542, which provides that a general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist.
- For California residents: see our Privacy Policy Section 18 for your CCPA/CPRA rights.
Canada
If you are located in Canada, these Terms are subject to applicable federal and provincial consumer protection legislation. The disclaimers and limitation of liability apply only to the extent permitted by the laws of your province of residence.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app (via push notification or in-app message) and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
